Oceans 97 Shrimp Bisque
Two cans, blended smooth into a cognac-and-cream base. Garnished with seared shrimp and thin jalapeño rings.
A traditional French preservation method, rebuilt around shrimp tail meat — with 2g of fat where the classic carries 18g.
Rillettes is a preservation method where meat is seasoned then slow cooked submerged in fat and cooked at a slow pace for several hours. The meat is shredded and packed into sterile containers covered in fat.
Now pay attention — Oceans 97 has a similar method but it’s unorthodox, using shrimp tail meat cooked and paired with all natural ingredients with different additions and having a 4-year shelf life. No comparison to traditional Paté, because the fat content is 2 grams compared to 18 grams in the traditional Paté.
Main ingredients in the traditional Paté are meat (pork, goose, duck, chicken, game birds, rabbit), salt, and fat. Oceans 97’s main ingredient is meat (shrimp) — and we just add “Our” ingredients.
