Oceans 97 Shrimp Paté Corn Bread
Cheddar, bacon, jalapeño and a can of New Orleans BBQ paté folded straight into the batter.
Natural spiciness from whole habanero chilis, Worcestershire for savoriness — and no barbecue sauce anywhere in the recipe.
New Orleans BBQ Paté is infused with similar ingredients to the Original New Orleans BBQ. The authentic recipe was created by a French Chef years ago, creating a natural spiciness from whole habanero chilis. Worcestershire sauce gives the Paté a peak savoriness while the mayo solidifies the constant spread. A blast of onion helps with astringency and a sharp bite in the beginning as well as the end.
NO SUGAR, NO CARBS. In the blend, the onion helps fulfill the sweetness every foodie loves, adding to the natural color. REAL BUTTER — real butter and mayo complement each other with a super emulsion of a one of a kind creamy spread. Soy oil plays a role in the process and is low in saturated fat, complementing what’s in the can.
We do not use BAR-B-QUE SAUCE in the recipe. It’s a traditional New Orleans staple that was created in the mid-1950’s. “Pascal’s Manale” invented the BBQ Shrimp Recipe and has been in business since 1913, before the Titanic sunk.

The paté whisked with mayo and lemon zest becomes a mousse layer over salmon. One sheet pan, easy clean-up.
