The delegation meets local stakeholders, explores investment opportunities and develops pathways to integrate Congolese resources into transparent global supply chains.
It builds on the June 27, 2025 White House meeting, where a partnership framework agreement supporting relations between the United States and the Democratic Republic of the Congo was signed.
The country holds nearly 70% of the world’s cobalt reserves, a critical input for advanced manufacturing, defense technologies, aerospace components and electric vehicles. By investing in beneficiation, infrastructure and community engagement, the partners aim to turn resource wealth into long-term stability, growth and opportunity for Congolese communities and international partners alike.
